Only a few employers look for people that have degrees. If that is the case, they offer associate degree in administrative assistance and bachelor's degree in areas such as business administration. While in high school, you should take classes in office administration, accounting, business & management, computers, keyboarding, journalism & communications, and also creative arts. Those classes should prepare you for college. In college, you should take classes such as, office procedure skills, word processing, spreadsheet and database software programs, and math and accounting skills. These should educate you to become an Administrative Assistant. Here are some colleges/universities that you can go to so that you can be an Administrative Assistant.
